Storytelling & Author Visits

I love sharing my books through author visits to primary schools, nurseries, children’s activity clubs, libraries and bookshops.

My first book, Fred The Fire-Sneezing Dragon has simple actions to learn and join in with during the story, which make it an engaging and fun session for everyone.

Bob’s Beard is another colourful rhyming story and my author visits with this book include lots of audience participation, costume, props and cuddly characters, as well as actions and rhymes for the children to enjoy.

My primary school author visits feature interactive storytelling sessions for individual classes or year groups, from pre school and reception, through to year 6.

Children often take part in follow up activities lead by their teachers, including drawing, crafts and creative writing.

I’m also happy to perform in school assemblies, talking through my career as a writer, reading one of my stories and answering questions from the children.

I love seeing how much my books spark the imagination of young children, as well as helping teachers to boost literacy and promote reading for pleasure.

I am currently offering FREE author visits to primary schools with no attendance fee. These half-day visits are funded by book sales on the day.
