FREE Author Visits For Primary Schools

Let’s start 2022 with the news that my FREE author visits for primary schools across the country are set to continue this year.

It’s the start of a new year, the start of a new term – and I’m feeling grateful that my email inbox is starting to fill up with enquiries from primary school teachers.

Many primary school teachers have recently been in touch to ask whether I will be continuing to offer my FREE author visits in 2022. The answer is a resounding YES!

My diary is already filling up with ‘in person’ and ‘virtual’ author visits, as primary school teachers start to plan exciting activities for their classes. Whether delivered in person or live online, my FREE author visits are ideal for engaging, inspiring and entertaining children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes. I’m also skilled at adapting my presentation style to suit Key Stage 2 pupils, right through to Year 6.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be hitting the road from my base in Cheshire to visit primary schools in East London, Cumbria, Staffordshire and Luton, to name but a few. I’ll also be meeting hundreds of children live online in classrooms far and wide, when I deliver my popular online ‘virtual assembly’ sessions.

My in person author visits include multiple interactive storytelling sessions with my rhyming picture books Fred The Fire-Sneezing Dragon and Bob’s Beard. They feature props, cuddly characters and simple actions and rhymes for children to learn.

In my online assembly-style sessions, I share the story of how I became a best-selling author, take part in a live Q&A and get everyone joining in with a ‘sneeze-along’ with Fred The Fire-Sneezing Dragon. Ah-choo!

Whether you fancy a ‘real life’ or ‘virtual’ session, primary schools have the option to enjoy a FREE author visit, simply by purchasing signed copies of my books.

As it’s such a busy time of year for teachers, I wanted to make it simple to register your interest in booking a FREE author visit this Term. I’m currently taking bookings for half-day (up to 3 hours) and full-day in person sessions in January and February 2022. In addition, I’ll soon be promoting my author visits to help primary schools celebrate World Book Day 2022, which takes place on Thursday 3 March 2022.
