Free Author Visits For Primary Schools

To celebrate the launch of my new children’s book, Bob’s Beard, I’m currently offering FREE Author Visits to primary schools across the UK.

I’m so grateful to all the schools that have already taken up my special offer of a FREE author visit with no attendance fee. Dates in January and February sold out so quickly that by popular demand, I’m about to release further dates in March 2019.

This brilliant photo provides a good insight into one of my FREE author visits with Bob’s Beard. The storytelling sessions include lots of audience participation, costume, props and cuddly characters, as well as actions and rhymes for the children to learn and join in with.  

My author visits are designed to be fun and interactive. My aim is to get everyone engaged with books, whilst encouraging young readers and budding writers. The feedback from primary school teachers and children has been amazing. 

In January 2019 I enjoyed returning to Hungerford Primary Academy near Crewe for a FREE author visit to share my new book Bob’s Beard. Year 2 Teacher Mandi Lloyd said: “It was a lovely visit. Both the staff and children got so much out of it.” The school was one of the first I visited with Fred The Fire-Sneezing Dragon back in September 2017!
